Beautiful watch

This is one of those rare cases when the photo does not do the product justice. The watch just sparkles and the hematite band just shines and takes on fascinating different shades between black and silver grey depending on the lighting. It is the most unusual color I have ever seen and the main reason I love this watch. It is neither over or under stated just perfect for work or out on the town. I have a bling watch that is outrageous I save for special occasions. This one is just amazing to look at the hematite is like a pool of water or mercury. There's another version or photos of it on other sites that makes the blue dial look very light colored but my one is just as dark as in the photo if not darker and shade more purple.More detail ...

I love this watch!

I have had this watch for a month now. I bought mine from Macys. It is a darker gold than it appears in this picture. The only downside to this watch is this is a unisex watch and I dont want people to think its a mans watch. Also sometimes the dial gets caught on things and it gets pulled out which of course changes the time. Other than that I love this watch! More detail ...

5 stars for looks; 2 stars for functionality

Looks:

This watch looks amazing. The tachymeter numbers on the bezel looks intricate and the dual silver/black combination gives a strong elegant contrast. There have been many times when people look at the watch on my hand and ask what brand/watch I'm wearing. (I say "Guess" and they take a guess. LOL)



Functionality:

The watch does lose points for functionality though.



1. Tachymeter: Unlike many watches with chrono here the chrono second hand is not the big/main second hand. (Many watches with chrono use the big hand as the chrono second hand and use one of the tiny hands on the face/background as the actual second hand). While this inherently isn't a problem this makes the tachymeter useless. The tachymeter is on the bezel and would only be useful if the chorono second hand was the big hand that moved along/pointed to the bezel since a chronograph is an integral part of making tachymeter measurements.



2. The little face/background dials: I would have been much happier if one of the three face hands had been devoted to showing the date. Instead two of them are for chrono (second and minute) and the third one (get this) is for showing the hour in 24 hour format (in case you forget how to add 12 at night?)



Overall get this watch depending on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a good looking elegant watch in the $120 range get this hands down. If you want date/tachymeter/more complicated stuff this isn't the watch for you.
